The award-winning Shoreline Explorer Network is the only partnership of public

and private trolley and bus service in the United States.


8 connecting routes allow riders to travel along the coast of Maine from York to Kennebunk.


All Routes of the Shoreline Explorer

system are seasonal with the exception of ORANGE Line 5 which operates year-round.

Trolley makes a “loop” starting at 9:00am from WRTC heading NORTH to Kennebunk Lower Village, stopping along the way at:


-  Wells Harbor


-  Wells Reserve/ Laudholm


-  Bypass Road (picks up riders heading to Lower      Village or WRTC)


-  Lower Village via Route 9

Vehicles are lift equipped.
